On this visit to Spice Road Table, Assim was our server (from Casablanca)… We ordered the Mediterranean Omelet (this is the least expensive item at Spice Road Table, $7).

It was paired with the Marqes de Caceres Santinella white. I had this during the Food

Wein Keller in Germany Pavilion, Epcot – Undone Riesling

The Undone Riesling caught my attention because of the bottle!

It looks like a corset coming unlaced…

I got loads of lemon on my first taste and Nick said it was “sour on the roof of my mouth”

It was very crisp, not too cold (they don’t keep the wine in a

Wein Keller in Germany Pavilion, Epcot – Hex Pinot Noir

Okay, the full name is…

2011 Hex vom Dasenstein Spätburgunder Pinot Noir $23.95 bottle at the Wein Keller in the Germany Pavilion at Epcot.

The bottles on display are pretty elaborate, with a witch on a grey wolf (or some other four-legged creature).

I thought this Pinot Noir was very smooth and

Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival 2014 – Fleur de Lys Confit de Canard

The full description of this is Confit de Canard, Pommes de Terre Sarladaise (Pulled Duck Confit with Garlic and Parsley Potatoes)… The evening we tried this, we also had the Gnocchi Parisien and the Kronenbourg Blanc 1664.

Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival 2014 – Fleur de Lys Gnocchi Parisien

The full description is…

Gnocchi Parisien a la Provencal (Parisian Style Dumplings with Vegetables and Mushrooms)

The dumplings weren’t like Italian gnocchi at all in terms of shape or texture. It was more like someone had made a long “snake” of dough, cut it off into equal sections, and called it dumplings.

The vegetables
