Happy New Year’s Eve to everyone! Nora and I may have seen two New Year’s “in” by staying up past midnight twice since 2000. So we will be early to bed tonight and early to rise on the 1st. Hopefully, we will go out to a yummy breakfast – maybe Earl of Sandwich? Thus, our first time to see how it was decorated and in fact, our first visit to the resort. The lobby area is very tasteful and nicely modern. We don’t go to the campground every week so it is possible we miss some of the decorations. But the most elaborate decorations are typically up all season long. Although many Disney World fans know about all the decorations at Fort Wilderness, many never take the time to go see them. It is possible to write a month long blog about all that there continue reading Christmas at Fort Wilderness during the day 2012 … Perhaps the most popular decoration at the Grand Floridian is the gingerbread house. I do not think the gingerbread house “holds a candle” to the tree and all the Victorian trimmings. The gingerbread house is large and is impressive – it is something you must see in person at least once.
