During the first day of the D23 Magic & Merriment 2012 at Walt Disney World, we were given access to the Hospitality Suite at American Adventure. There was a private elevator, actually a bit of a misnomer because it’s the same elevator used to transport handicapped guests upstairs but there is a second set of doors on the “outside” of the pavilion. The space was rather nice with period appropriate furniture in the lounge area, a full dining room with a kitchen off to the side, and a meeting room at the opposite end of the area. The space is used for meetings and such, and can be rented for a fee…
It’s worth noting that the Cast Members in the hospitality area were very friendly and happy to talk about their roles at Walt Disney World, and to be helpful in any way they could.
There are fireplaces at either end of the lounge area…
The lounge space was actually quite large…
There were two display cases on the “upper level” of the lounge (think of it as a large walkway)…
Lemonade and iced water were provided as refreshments for D23 Members attending the Magic and Merriment Events (in the dining area)…
Not the most elegant dining set up we’ve ever seen…
Display in the corner of the dining area…
China and crystal display cases…
Lastly, nick took some photos looking out over the American Gardens Theater… The roof of the portico below isn’t the prettiest thing ever, but remember, it’s not meant to be seen by guests.
