We were able to get all of the reservations that we wanted, except two…
- Dining Through the Decades: A Tribute to Walt Disney – we wanted reserved seating (the only way that doing events in the World Showplace is enjoyable for us), all sold out by the time I got to speak to a live person (on hold for 40 minutes or so)
- Bootcamp “I’ll take Manhattans!” – this was removed from the schedule, so no bootcamp for us (we can still get a great Manhattan at bluezoo with Lisa & Andy if we want)
What are we looking forward to repeating?
- Kevin Dundon’s Culinary Demonstration at the Festival Center (2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013) and Raglan Road Signature Dinner (2010)
- Chef Cib’s Pasta Making Class at the Swan & Dolphin Food & Wine Classic (2013)
- Chad Lobner’s Sake Class, a bit different this year with the inclusion of SUSHI, at the Swan & Dolphin Food & Wine Classic (2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013)
And lastly, what’s new for us this year?
- Italian Food & Wine Pairing at Via Napoli
- French Regional Lunch – Alsace
- Sunday Morning with Alex Guarnicelli
- Andrew Zimmern Culinary Demonstration (we haven’t followed his bizarre foods stuff on tv, but we’ve seen some of his regional food shows and are really interested to see how he is live and in person)
- Emily Ellyn Culinary Demonstration (she was a contestant on the Next Food Network Star the year that they had teams and mentors)
