Our next stop on the World Showcase ornament tour is Germany (there weren’t many decorations in the china Pavilion)…
very fuzzy teddy bear
the sports shop at the entrance to the pavilion was decorated with sports gear – boots and skis
a little ski lift – very fitting
berry balls
a cut out snowflake (very similar to snowflake motifs in knitting)
Santa Claus!
the mantle in the next room was decorated with evergreen swags and little dolls
I hadn’t noticed the dolls right away, Nick pointed them out to me
very cute, they really remind me of the small dolls that my Aunt Helen and Uncle Bill brought to me from their time stationed in Germany
a little blonde doll with pigtails
CANDY! Well, I think candy counts as decorations
a little vignette in the toy store
adorable (non-Duffy) pirate bear
you probably know that Germany has a Christmas shop all year – here are some ornaments – owl
german sausages with mustard
Peter Pan
Captain Jack Sparrow (not sure how I feel about this one, wouldn’t want it on my Christmas tree)
Pinocchio
Cinderella in her pumpkin coach
Pinocchio & Jack Sparrow
Mickey Mouse!
blown glass snowman (I believe these are made in the Germany Pavilion)
antique race car
very nice
another snowman, this one is less artisan
he has a Christmas tree and presents on his tummy
stylized glass Christmas tree to hang on your Christmas tree
small Nativity (or creche) crafted from wood
