As we’ve come to expect, the public areas of Wilderness Lodge & Villas have a lot of nice decor. It tends to be rather rustic with antlers and dried flowers and lots of other natural elements…
Christmas tree in the central atrium of Wilderness Lodge Villas, this somewhat hidden spot is often calm and relaxing & the tree is more “normal sized” than a lot of the trees at the deluxe resorts
the main tree at Wilderness Lodge, this one is huge – some of the decorations on this tree are easily 2 feet in width
Nick was able to get a good photo from the second floor balcony, the LED lights make it a bit difficult to appreciate this tree from afar
this may be my favorite fireplace at Walt Disney World, the wreath is simply greenery, red ribbons, and lights – so perfect for this setting
small tree bedecked with red poinsettias and red plaid ribbons
this small tree (off to the side near the elevators and the bubbling spring) was decorated with the cutest little bristle brush ornaments (more on those later)
same tree from other direction – Wilderness Lodge decked out for Christmas is much more to our tastes than the Grand Floridian
a huge wreath with a very large moose antler – so unique
another leaning Christmas tree (maybe the bears have been using it for a scratching post?)… this little vignette was set up for holiday portraits
another possibly overlooked detail… over the foyer in/out of Wilderness Lobby, there were little deer and christmas trees all lit up
