As you know, the decor at the Grand Floridian is VERY Victorian. Lots of lace and ribbons and flowers and sparkle. I’m sure that this appeals to some people, but it’s not really our thing (at Christmas or at any time of the year).

The centerpiece tree is massive. There was a specific area for getting your photo made (Disney photographers were there too). It seemed a bit commercialized and not as “Christmasy” [cue the Grinch]

A small Christmas tee on the second floor of The Grand Floridian. There were subtle differences in the decorations on the smaller Christmas trees… I wonder if most guests even notice

The set up for the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra, they play Christmas music though out the season (we tried to hear them a couple of times, but special events in the resort prevented them from performing at their usual times)
