Going around World Showcase clockwise from the promenade bridge – if it isn’t mentioned we don’t plan on trying it…

2. Brazil

• Seared Scallop with Ragout of Tomatoes, Peppers & Hearts of Palm – maybe
• Crispy Pork Belly with Black Beans, Onions, Avocado & Cilantro – we tasted during soft opening, will likely try again
• Kaiser Brewery, Xingu Black Beer – we tasted during soft opening, not likely to try again
• Carnaval Moscato Sparkling White Wine – it’s an option for nora when friends are visiting

4. Australia

• Garlic Shrimp with Roasted Tomatoes, Lemon Myrtle & Rapini – we tasted during soft opening, not likely to try again
• Grilled Lamb Chop with Mint Pesto & Potato Crunchies – we are planning to taste this with visiting friends
• Rosemount Estate Merlot – yes, if paired with the lamb chop
• Penfolds Bin 8 Cabernet Shiraz – yes, if paired with the lamb chop

5. Mexico

• Shrimp Taco with Purple Cabbage – we’re eternal optimists when it comes to this offering, we’re rarely impressed, the shrimp are usually overcooked, but we still keep trying again and again… yes
• Rice Pudding – no, dessert calories, not worth it for something that we’re fairly sure isn’t impressive (doubt that we hear otherwise)
• Tequila Flight – nora is likely to get one when we have visitors
• Mango-Habanero Margarita – maybe, maybe not, the margaritas at La Hacienda and La Cava Del Tequila are FANTASTIC (the ones from the booth haven’t been)

6. Singapore

• Lemongrass Chicken Curry with Coconut and Jasmine Rice – maybe, depends on how it looks, we’ll try to scope it out regularly
• Seared Mahi Mahi with Jasmine Rice and “Singa” Sauce – yes
• Marques de Caceres Satinela – maybe, it’s semi-sweet white wine

7. China – only two maybes for Nora

• Black Pepper Shrimp with Sichuan Noodles – maybe for Nora
• Francis Ford Coppola Su Yuen Riesling – maybe for Nora

8. South Korea

• Lettuce Wrap with Roast Pork & Kimchi Slaw – yes
• Kimchi Dog with Spicy Mustard Sauce – ummm, no… have you seen our pictures of the Togarashi Dog at bluezoo? enough said

9. Africa & Outpost

• Berbere Style Beef with Onions, Jalapenos, Tomato, Okra & Pap – oh yes, this is on our lists EVEN THOUGH it’s beef (okra, jalapeños, pap… oh yes)
• Spinach & Paneer Cheese Pocket – yes, we liked it enough to have it twice last year
• The Wolftrap Red (wine blend) – yes, if it is paired with one of the two savory items
• St Georges Beer – maybe

10. Cheese

• Almond Crusted Blue Cheese Soufflé with Fig Jam – maybe
• Artisan Cheese Selection: Flagship Reserve Cheddar, La Bonne Vie Triple Crème Brie, Wijngaard Goats Gouda – maybe
• Once Upon a Vine’s A Charming Pinot – maybe to likely
• Once Upon a Vine’s The Big Bad Red Blend – maybe

11. Brewer’s Collection – yes, we’re most likely to get a couple of beer flights and try them all

• Schinkennudeln (pasta gratin with ham and cheese) – yes for nora, nick will likely have a small taste
• Apple Strudel with Werther’s Original karamel & vanilla sauce – maybe for nick

13. Poland

• Zapiekanki – yes, we liked it last year
• Okocim Brewery, Okocim O.K. Beer – yes for nora, maybe for nick
• Temptation Zinfindel – maybe, but not highly likely

16. Hops & Barley

• Craisin Bread Pudding with Grand Marnier Anglaise – yes for nick, maybe a taste for nora
• Rogue Chocolate Stout – yes for both of us
• Iron Horse Fairy Tale Cuvee – maybe for nora when we have visitors

17. Florida Local

• Florida Grass Fed Beef Slider with Monterey Jack and Sweet & Hot Pickles – maybe
• Florida Shrimp Ceviche with Fire Roasted Vegetables and Micro Cilantro – maybe
• Cigar City Brewing Florida Cracker Belgian-style White Ale – maybe

• Harissa Chicken Roll – yes for nick, maybe for nora

20. New Zealand

• Green Lip Mussels with Garlic Butter & Toasted Bread Crumbs – we tried this at soft opening, not sure we’re eager to try again
• Venison Sausage with Pickled Mushrooms, Baby Arugula & Black Currant Reduction – yes, sausage please
• Lamb Meatball with Spicy Tomato Chutney – maybe
• Kim Crawford Pinot Noir – maybe, most likely if paired

• Lobster & Seafood Fisherman’s Pie – yes, we get it every year
• Kerrygold Cheese Selection: Reserve Cheddar, Dubliner with Irish Stout & Skellig – yes, a little different selection this year, hopefully the brown bread & butter and chutney are still included
• Warm Chocolate Pudding with Bailey’s Custard – maybe

24. Canada

• Seared Rainbow Trout with Bacon, Frisee & Maple Minus 8 Vinaigrette – nick wants to try this, nora has no interest… watch it be really, really good

25. Greece
