Rosemont Estate Traminer Riesling and Rosemont Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Shiraz

Riesling…

nick’s notes are that it smells good and it tastes good! it was a little bit too sweet… the pairing of the shrimp with the riesling was the best from this booth.

nora’s notes are “I like it!” The sweetness balanced nicely with the spiciness (not excessive) of the shrimp.

Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Shiraz…

nick’s notes are “lots of Cabernet scents” and taste is good for a deep red wine.

nora’s notes are “well, I like it, but then again I like Cabernet quite a bit and I like some Merlots.”

The pairing of the “Merlot” with the lamb chop wasn’t as good as the other pairing.

Overall…

Combining the two wines, on our scale of 1-10 (1=never ever again and 10=gotta have this 2 or 3 more times), nora gives the wines a 9 and nick gives them a 7 (with a clear preference for the riesling), average 8/10.
