This year we had planned three pairings and this was the last one (Mexico’s Tequila Lunch and Japan’s Food & Sake were the other two). If you attend the Food & Wine Festival annually the food choices can get boring, no really, they can. So when I saw that Brazil added Mahi Mahi, I put it on my must try list. It was still a good dish but the flavors were more muted. The seafood flavors were not as distinct. Plus although it was really hot – the mashed potatoes were not as “firm” as I expected.
