I’d love to believe that Disney makes so much money that every year they can create all new topiary for the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. Although they do make boatloads of money, most visitors/guests don’t visit every year. So Disney can easily recycle topiary and change locations without too many people really noticing or caring. The topiaries are still fun to find as you tour the park…
This year Disney brought back many tried and true topiaries from the past. Unfortunately, several (most notably the Peter Pan display) were in the same spots as last year. But to keep with theming, character greeting locations and space issues they are working with some hard constraints. So I guess I’ll give them a break on locations and reuse (even though they make so much money!).
Below are the recycled topiaries for 2011. I’ll post the photos in order as you walk counter-clockwise around world showcase lagoon.
