Yacht Club Decor – Holidays 2013

Here’s a photo tour of the decor around the Yacht Club

Yacht Club Holiday Decor 2013 - 01

large ships are a common element (of course)… I liked the mix of colors, not too showy but still celebratory

similar wreath all lit up with LEDs (I’ve noticed that the lights seem much brighter this year than in the past – but it could be all a perception thing on my part)

display at Ale & Compass – this used to be a lounge only, nowadays it also serves as a breakfast spot (quick service, pastries & coffee & such)

nick was able to get a really good photo of the compass 🙂

long view of the lobby… the swags are enormous and the tree is quite big (not as big as the Grand Floridian’s though)

the ships on the lobby tree are really large, big enough to sail on the pond in Central Park

a view of the tree from the other side (the natural light was behind Nick and the colors are more apparent)

have you ever noticed the small area upstairs off the lobby? it’s a nice place to escape… again, lush swags and a wreath decorate this area

again, the window displays at the shop were very creative and interesting… Pluto has gotten into the gifts a bit early!

We liked this embroidered pillow…. “Dear Santa, I want it all!”

the gifts to purchase are so cute… especially the Mickey Mouse toy soldiers
