Holiday Turkey – turkey, stuffing, gravy & cranberry sauce
Mini Review
This sandwich definitely isn’t low calorie, but unlike the Tuna Melt, there are a lot of flavors and textures at play…
The turkey is the standard Earl of Sandwich roasted turkey, this isn’t at all disparaging, the turkey is very good
The cranberry sauce has more flavor than it did when I had this sandwich in December, it also has chunks of real cranberries… Nice
The gravy was just moisture as far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t add any flavor; also, it wasn’t evenly distributed and one side of the sandwich was pretty soggy. Nick even asked me later “didn’t your sandwich have gravy on it? I didn’t see any”
The stuffing was the stand-out (nick liked it too)… The balance of herbiness and saltiness were just to our tastes, there seemed to be a blend of white bread and corn bread, very nice… Frankly, just a bowl of this stuffing with gravy and turkey would be good
