We recently went to our first professional baseball game (Calvin and Walter came along too). We’re trying to take advantage of more of the non-Theme Park things that Walt Disney World has to offer and the Atlanta Braves Spring Training at ESPN Wide World of Sports certainly fits the bill…

There was a bit of a rain delay, but luckily it wasn’t cold (by Central Florida standards)…

We had good seats with a clear view of home plate… Nora was fascinated by how they prepped the field for play…
This was during another slight rain shower, the seats were pretty much filled when it wasn’t wet…

At first, we thought that the Braves were going to lose the game… It was close for a while…
We moved around some. Walter wanted to look up an old friend (the friend isn’t old, he’s just known Walter for years) who works at ESPN Wide World of Sports, we found him up in the stands down the first baseline (warning: there are a lot of baseballs that come in this direction!).
After the game, they let the kids run the bases! What a hoot! This little guy made up his own path around (or through) the bases!
