America pavilion is mostly decorated in the Della Robia style…

this year, the large tree was over in Santa’s Village instead of on the fountain in the center

I particularly like the little tin lanterns on the tree

well, they aren’t that little! that’s a full sized (plastic) pineapple right next to one of the lanterns

this beaded and pleated ornament in the shop caught my eye

magnolia blossoms were included in the swags in the gift shop (by the way, they no longer have the regional hard-to-find candies in the gift shop, now nearly all the items are touted as made by American artisans)

of course, we had to listen to the Voices of Liberty perform traditional holiday songs

now it’s beginning to feel like Christmas!

certainly a MUST DO for those who like music

there were several small trees in the main area of the American Pavilion, again, decorated Della Robia style with magnolias & fruit

simple and effective

Della Robia means that the decor includes “fresh” fruit – here we have an orange and peaches (which is a bit silly because peaches aren’t really in season anywhere in the US in December!)

looks like a real orange!
