Today, I’m reviewing another breakfast sandwich “Bacon Egg Cheddar”… as I expected, now that summer is in full swing, the smaller breakfast sandwiches are okay in the morning (I still think that the full sized sandwiches are a better value). Plus, Sandy and I made a pact to be able to wear bikinis in October when they come back to visit – so fewer calories is a good thing!
This sandwich was pretty yummy overall. As always, the Earl of Sandwich uses good cheese and the cheddar on this one added a nice note. The bacon was a bit limp.
Digression… (just wondering out loud, it seems like the bacon on the breakfast options is limper than the bacon on the full sized sandwiches, maybe it’s cooked differently? well, it is in a “round ring” for the breakfast sandwiches)
The egg was particularly fluffy and moist (yay!).
I’d likely order this one again, but lately, the Ham, Egg & Cheddar breakfast sandwich with lettuce, tomato and dijon is a go to (I’ve finished all the breakfast sandwiches even though you haven’t seen all the posts yet).
