This is the tenth installment of Eat Each Sandwich Challenge (#2013eateachsandwich)
Today’s sandwich veered from the usual #2013eateachsandwich… We had visitors over from England (Harry & Sandy) and so, we didn’t walk the 10K that is usually part of the challenge. We also were able to enjoy visiting Earl of Sandwich with friends, which is always a treat. Oh yes! Sandy had the Hawaiian BBQ sandwich (said she’d been craving it ever since my first #2013eateachsandwich tweet and post), Harry had the Ham, Egg ‘n’ Cheddar breakfast sandwich, and nick had the Full Montagu with egg 🙂

Mini Review
My notes are rather brief for this one…
I thought that the sandwich had turkey and ham, not roasted pork and ham (it didn’t taste like pork to me).
The pickles were pretty skimpy, not enough for my tastes.

The mayonnaise seemed pretty heavy and it definitely would have benefited from more mustard.
The swiss cheese was undetectable (odd because Earl of Sandwich uses aged swiss cheese that usually comes though).
BUT the bread was perfectly toasted.
I wouldn’t call this sandwich “great”… During a twitter conversation with @eatingwdw, I remarked that I certainly hope that this one improves as the staff become more accustomed to making it… Maybe I got a “trial run” version.
