First, links to our posts from the past week…
- Nora continues with her “Eat Each Sandwich Challenge” at Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney – this time it was the Italian Sandwich (the best one so far, including the one that she hasn’t written about yet)
- African-Inspired, Disney-Designed Tour of Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village – this is the second in the free resort tour offerings, we really enjoyed it and the Cast Member conducting the tour was excellent
From around the web and the twitter-verse…
- Sarah and Matt at EatingWDW…
- Went to Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie and tried the same sandwich we had (the Dinde BLT) – must say that we agree with Matt, the condiment on that sandwich seems to be a mustard based sauce, not garlic aioli
- Asked how her blog readers were going to celebrate National Pizza Pie Day (February 9) and gave a detailed list of pizzas and flatbreads around WDW – she missed our current favorite, bacon & clam belly flatbread at bluezoo (sorry, no photos! guess that means we need to go back and take photos!)
- FoxxFur over at Passport to Dreams Old & New has created a series of posts that act as hubs for some of her more popular subjects, we find her level of detail and research fascinating…
- Buena Vista Obscura – really obscure Walt Disney World history
- Park Theory – “Disney derived themed design experiences”
- Lake Buena Vista – the Disney created town of Lake Buena Vista, Florida
- Jungle Cruise
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Haunted Mansion
- Disney Parks Blog had two recent posts of interest to us…
- Caribbean Beach Resort holds lots of happy memories for us, the menu at Shutters has just been updated… guess that means a visit to Shutters is in the near future
- This year’s Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is going to feature a LOT more food and beverage offerings
- AJ at The Disney Food Blog was able to provide us with even more details on the food and beverage offerings at Flower & Garden Festival (now we have to start a list!)
Upcoming events for us at Extra WDW Magic…
- Dine with an Imagineer at the Flying Fish Cafe, Boardwalk Inn & Villas Resort (review from allears.net and sample menu from Disney)
- Wine Luncheon at Artist’s Point
- 3 free resort tours are on our calendars!
