Pork Kakuni – Epcot 2011 Food & Wine Festival

Our first sample of the Pork Kakuni from the Japanese Kiosk was very tasty. The portion was quite generous and since it tasted so good that was a big plus. The pork is simmered is dashi (stock), soy sauce, mirin (rice wine), sugar and sake.  The flavors work very well and even with the large chunk we had, the flavors were consistent throughout.  Also, due to the simmering the pork was moist.  This is a definite, try it again.
