So, in the last week…<\/p>\n

- The last breakfast sandwich of #2013eateachsandwich was eaten and written about… Egg & Cheddar<\/a>… kinda simple and bland, not bad though<\/li>\n
- In anticipation of the 2013 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, I revisited the Tequila Lunch<\/a> at La Hacienda (update: I was able to get reservations for the two dates that we wanted, yay!)… over the last two years, this has become one of our favorite events; the food is good, the tequilas are good, and the service & staff are on top of their game for these events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- Eating Around WDW showcased some new merchandise at the UK Pavilion… Dr Who<\/a>! Now, it’s not that we’re Dr Who fans… It’s that Asta is a Dr Who fan, so much so that nora knitted him a scarf, like the one Tom Baker wore \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- The Disney Blog (blogs.disney.com) usually has some interesting stories… lately two caught our eyes: The Story Behind The Story of Frozen<\/a> (you know, the animated movie in production at Disney) and How Well Do You Know “The Sword in the Stone”? <\/a>(this was one of nora’s favorite movies growing up, in the years before VHS and DVD, she had to wait until it came on the World of Disney to watch it)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- A new book from Marty Sklar “Dream It! Do It! My Half-Century Creating Disney’s Magic Kingdoms<\/a>” (definitely on nora’s wish list) is previewed on the Disney Parks Blog<\/a><\/li>\n
- Melissa from hyperionpapers.com<\/a> provides a link to another Mickey Mouse short “Pandamonium<\/a>” – nora didn’t like this as much as some of the previous shorts<\/li>\n
- Then there is news from the D23 Expo – and this doesn’t even scratch the surface (we joined D23 last year because of the 30th Anniversary of Epcot (here<\/a> and here<\/a>) and then we attended the D23 Magic and Merriment event during the holidays (lots of posts: archival presentation<\/a>, hospitality suite<\/a>, dessert buffet at Epcot<\/a>, breakfast at Magic Kingdom<\/a>,\u00a0an evening at Disney Hollywood Studios<\/a>, and our final thoughts<\/a> – frankly, we were really disappointed at the events here at Walt Disney World, perhaps they do a better job at Disneyland (their own backyard))…\n

- A new documentary<\/a>, from Leslie Iwerks, was previewed at the 2013 D23 Expo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
We’re really looking forward to the Epcot Food & Wine Festival… we were able to book all of the events that we wanted except for one (the Spirits Confidential on November 1st… all of the reserved seats were gone when nora called the reservation system). More on that in the next few days!<\/p>\n
