\n- The #2013eateachsandwich challenge continues with the Caribbean Jerk Chicken<\/a> sandwich, I really enjoyed this one, it suited my taste buds but I can’t think of anyone else who will really like it as much as I do<\/li>\n
- Nora noticed some posts on Christmas in July from other Disney World bloggers and even from Disney World itself (the official Christmas in July seemed to revolve about food & merchandise, oh well) – so she was inspired to bring back some blog posts about our Christmas 2012 at Walt Disney World in “Christmas in July<\/a>“<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

From the ether…<\/h3>\n\n- We learned of the Orlando Magical Dining Month<\/a> (September 2013) from AJ at the Disney Food Blog (her post here<\/a>) – at $33 for three course meals, this seems like a great opportunity to try out some places that we haven’t been to yet – the only drawback = calories, I’m trying to LOSE weight before the start of Epcot Food & Wine Festival 2013 so that I can indulge with less guilt!<\/li>\n
- The first Masai Giraffe baby was born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, they’re running a contest<\/a> to select a name – isn’t he adorable?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

<\/a>New addition to the giraffe herd at Disney’s Animal Kingdom<\/p><\/div>\n
\n- We learned that the Top of The World Lounge at Bay Lake Towers <\/a>is no longer restricted to DVC-BLT OWNERS, any DVC owner can go there (of course seating is limited) – Thank you WDW for Grown-Ups<\/a>… Nora wants to go there AND she’s tickled by the name connection to the old incarnation of the restaurant at the top of the original Contemporary Resort (you know, California Grill before it was California Grill)<\/li>\n
- Nora has had the book “It’s Kind of a Cute Story” on her kindle wish list for a LONG time, far too long (just buy the danged thing already!)… foodfitnessfantasy.com<\/a> gives us a review<\/a> of the book<\/li>\n
- Main Street Gazette<\/a> nearly always has something interesting, that speaks to our past experiences re: Walt Disney World… for instance, this week he talks about some of the “creepier” CMs … specifically, TJ<\/a> … we’ve interacted with him at the Tower of Terror, during Backstage Magic tours, waiting in line for the Disney’s Hollywood Studios to open, and we’ve seen him on television loads of times<\/li>\n
- We saw two cocktail oriented blog posts that we want to share:\n
\n- Tiki Drinks at the Polynesian<\/a>… some background history from Progress City USA<\/a><\/li>\n
- A drink inspired by Mike Wazowski.<\/a>.. another Tiki drinhttp:\/\/blogs.disney.com\/insider\/articles\/2013\/07\/24\/just-released-saving-mr-banks-poster\/k actually… from Quasi-Everything<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Sarah at EatingWDW<\/a> has three posts that caught our attention\n
\n- A spicy chicken sandwich<\/a> at Epcot’s Refreshment Port (we ate here for the first time in memory back in February, can’t even remember what we ordered :O) — this post is as much an ode to the now-gone spicy chicken poppers<\/a> as it is about this sandwich<\/li>\n
- Sour Japanese Plum potato chips<\/a>, yes really… Sarah says that they’re quite a bit like Salt & Vinegar potato chips (nora’s FAVORITE, it even beats the Worchestershire flavored crisps<\/a> we had in England… BTW we had some really very good S&V crisps in England!)<\/li>\n
- Lastly, a roast pork sandwich from Sunshine Seasons<\/a> at The Land in Epcot, their food is often quite good (probably why the food court is often quite busy!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
