Rosemont Estate Traminer Riesling and Rosemont Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Shiraz<\/p><\/div>\n

Riesling…<\/strong><\/p>\n

nick’s notes are that it smells good and it tastes good! it was a little bit too sweet… the pairing of the shrimp with the riesling was the best from this booth.<\/p>\n

nora’s notes are “I like it!” The sweetness balanced nicely with the spiciness (not excessive) of the shrimp.<\/p>\n

Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Shiraz…<\/strong><\/p>\n

nick’s notes are “lots of Cabernet scents” and taste is good for a deep red wine.<\/p>\n

nora’s notes are “well, I like it, but then again I like Cabernet quite a bit and I like some Merlots.”<\/p>\n

The pairing of the “Merlot” with the lamb chop wasn’t as good as the other pairing.<\/p>\n

Overall…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Combining the two wines, on our scale of 1-10 (1=never ever again and 10=gotta have this 2 or 3 more times), nora gives the wines a 9 and nick gives them a 7 (with a clear preference for the riesling), average 8\/10.<\/p>\n
