{"id":3007,"date":"2011-08-16T18:33:59","date_gmt":"2011-08-16T22:33:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=3007"},"modified":"2011-08-16T18:33:59","modified_gmt":"2011-08-16T22:33:59","slug":"martin-daraz-where-are-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=3007","title":{"rendered":"Martin Daraz, where are you?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our favorite presenter at the 2010 Epcot International Food &amp; Wine Festival was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=2615\" target=\"_blank\">Martin Daraz from the Edrington Group<\/a>. \u00a0You cannot imagine my disappointment when Martin nor the Edrington Group were on the schedule for the 2011 Epcot International Food &amp; Wine Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Martin celebrated his fifth year as a presenter last year by sharing two bottles of\u00a0Macallan FO 21 year old (talk about extra magic!!!)! \u00a0We talked to him several times and his hope was that the Festival organizers would allow him to expand &#8211; hopefully adding a chocolate and scotch tasting. \u00a0What a perfect fit for our tastes and we eagerly awaited this year&#8217;s schedule to see if the organizers had stepped up. \u00a0Again the only word that comes to mind is disappointment.<\/p>\n<p>There are 6 &#8220;TBD&#8217;s&#8221; on the calendar for the new Mixology Seminars. \u00a0I don&#8217;t think scotch fits in mixology but I am hopeful or maybe wishful. \u00a0It would be a real shame if Martin Daraz is not presenting at this year&#8217;s festival. \u00a0As of now, he is not on the calendar.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Daraz, where are you?<\/p>\n<p>nick<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our favorite presenter at the 2010 Epcot International Food &amp; Wine Festival was Martin Daraz from the Edrington Group.
