{"id":16620,"date":"2014-11-05T13:30:20","date_gmt":"2014-11-05T18:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=16620"},"modified":"2014-11-05T12:05:08","modified_gmt":"2014-11-05T17:05:08","slug":"sake-sushi-at-swan-dolphin-food-wine-classic-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=16620","title":{"rendered":"Sake &#038; Sushi at Swan &#038; Dolphin Food &#038; Wine Classic 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Our first visit to the Swan &amp; Dolphin Food &amp; Wine Classic 2014 took place on Friday, October 31<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This is the fifth year for the Food &amp; Wine Classic and I&#8217;ve attended Chad&#8217;s Sake Class every time it&#8217;s been offered, Nick&#8217;s only missed one (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=2411\" target=\"_blank\">2010<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=3171\" target=\"_blank\">2011<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=4794\" target=\"_blank\">2012<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=11199\" target=\"_blank\">2013<\/a>). This is a photo blog with captions and a post-script at the end. Chef Cib and Chad were co-hosting &#8220;The Fine Arts of Sushi &amp; Sake&#8221;. It was much more interactive than we expected and we&#8217;d love to do it again.<\/p>\n<p>Our biggest &#8220;problem&#8221; with the Food &amp; Wine Classic (as it has evolved) &#8211; the Causeway has become so popular that we didn&#8217;t do it this year and therefore the classes are more our speed &#8211; the drawback\u2026 the classes are getting better and better and we can&#8217;t attend as many as we&#8217;d like because they&#8217;re all on Friday and\/or Saturday afternoon before the Causeway.
