This food wasn’t even warm, much less “hot” – I’d say it wasn’t even ambient temperature – and it suffered for it.<\/p>\n

The portion of haggis was much smaller than we remember and the vegetable sides were tasteless and just pitiful.<\/p>\n

We didn’t finish this dish, it joined the conch salad and the tostones in the nearest trash can.<\/p>\n
On to the scallop… As Nick watched, they fished the scallop “out of a vat” (ummm, not a good sign… again). SEARED doesn’t mean braised or soaked in liquid.<\/p>\n

So, we’ve already established that the scallop had very little potential for being good – it was overcooked, too chewy, and under salted. I ate half of it and Nick ate 1\/4 of it. Guess where the rest of it went?<\/p>\n
The spinach was the best thing we had to eat from the Scotland booth. Loads of umami, good flavors, and good texture. Just get some spinach because the bacon, while okay, wasn’t really anything to write home about.<\/p>\n
