Wine Festival &#8211; summary of wines beer etc"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We did a quick summary of wines, beer, etc\u2026 part way through the Festival (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=10755\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Quick recap if you don&#8217;t want to follow the link&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brazil Marketplace &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=10608\" target=\"_blank\">Xingu Black Beer<\/a>, not so great but not bad<\/li>\n<li>Outpost (near Africa) &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=10656\" target=\"_blank\">St George Beer<\/a>, not likely to go out of our way to have again<\/li>\n<li>Hops &amp; Barley Marketplace &#8211;\u00a0Samuel Adams Octoberfest &amp; Rogue Chocolate Stout, really the only reasons to get these (1) you&#8217;re thirsty for beer and (2) you like draft beer &#8211; these were both all that we expected and quite tasty, I had another Rogue Chocolate Stout and Nick had another Octoberfest as the Festival continued, so yes, they&#8217;re pretty darned good<\/li>\n<li>Intermission Cafe in the Festival Center \u00a0&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=11663\" target=\"_blank\">J&amp;H Selbach Berkasteler Kurfurstlay Riesling Kabinett<\/a> &#8220;delicate sweetness and mild acidity&#8221;, better pairing with the cheeses than the Pinot; I liked it so much that I had it again later in the Festival<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Zapiekanki-Poland-Epcot-Food-Wine-Festival-2013-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11609 aligncenter\" alt=\"Zapiekanki (toasted mushroom, caramelized onion &amp; cheese bread with house-made ketchup) and Okocim Brewery O.K. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/?p=11343&amp;cpage=1#comment-592\" target=\"_blank\">Domaine Skouras Moscofilero<\/a> (featured pairing with Taste of Greece), this wine was a pleasant surprise (it had been on our &#8220;do not have&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">NO PHOTO FROM DESSERTS &amp; CHAMPAGNE MARKETPLACE<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Dessert &amp; Champagne Marketplace &#8211; there aren&#8217;t any photos because the only thing that we tried from this booth during the Festival was the Pyramid Weiss Cream Beer &#8211; verdict? I liked it, the texture and head were very similar to Guinness, the flavors were creamy and slightly sweet, easy to understand why it would go with desserts (which we never sampled)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.extrawdwmagic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Tuna-Poke-from-Hawaii-booth-Nov-11-2013-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11893 aligncenter\" alt=\"featured pairing - Tuna Poke with Seaweed Salad &amp;
